I’m a new subscriber to Courier Exchange, but have been following and researching Courier Exchange for about six months. Now I have made the commitment and jumped on board. I served the Crown for over 30 years before a serious injury brought my career to an end. Retirement at 49 sounds good, but there is a limit to the amount of Jeremy Kyle and Loose Women a bloke can take! I like the idea of being my own Boss and getting out of the house, so I built an office and bought a van and made a few investments. This has given my the option of creating work for others……..Who starts up a business in a financialy unstable recession plagued country? Mad or Determined to create employment when many are giving up hope!

Wow, we did not have all this technology when we first joined the industry well over 12 years ago, bit daunting at the moment but sure it will all become as clear as mud after training. We are mainly a removal and storage company. We have joind the haulage exchange as the removal business is up and down and not keeping us busy enough. Our vehicles are rporpose built removal vehicles but they are container wagons and can be loaded by forklift from the back and side. We run an 7.5 tonne wagon. A 18 tonne wagon. A large Luton van and a small citroen dispatch.
We are looking forward to getting stuck in and hopefully making the Haulage exchange increase our revenue therfore keeping us all in employment.

Hi ya all C X members… Mush transport Ltd is our company been set up approx 6 years. It is a family run business. We used to be on courier exchange about four years ago, for those of you who may recognise us. The company is run by Maurice who is also the driverof the sprinter and my daughter, Di, is the one on the laptop and she also has a small van for local work.
We are available for work 24/7. We also have another vehicle which is contracted to multi drop courier work but can be available at weekends driven by my son Clive.
We have all been in the business for approx 15 years. Maurice was orignally in the fire service before he retired and followed in his kids footsteps. Maurice,Di and Clive have all been multi drop drivers for business post and target. Di has also worked for TNT same day and nightspeed. And Maurice and Di have provided same day service work for Bathstore and Newey and Eyre previously.

As like a lot of couriers i have tried the other sites that offer you jobs when ever you want them but never coming up with the goods.

Hi everyone at cx my name is Tony burnett i am the direcor of BTB Couriers Ltd we are based in Plymouth Devon we have been trading as a ltd company since 2001 but we were establised in 1999.
We are currently running two Fiat scudo 2009 long wheel base high top vans these are plain white and not sign writen.These are able to carry two standard pallets
Because of our current client base we have to keep to plain vans because of the confidential material we carry.
We have joined cx to extend our reputation through people at cx and extend our client base also to make use of the return loads that we may be able to carry from different locations through out the UK back to Devon or Cornwall.
Any tips or advice on making the cx work for us and in return help cx work for you, please share your experience with us at BTB.

Hi everybody, my names Brian and I am the director of BSA Express LTD. We are a small courier company based in Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire. We have in our fleet 4 vans 1 small, 1 MWB and 2 LWB vans.
We do have a few good customers, and have done work for large corporate companies, for example City Link.
I have to say I have been umming and arring about joining this site and have come to the conclusion that it is a very good way to meet like minded businesses, and to help make my business grow.
I hope we get a chance to prove to you how good our service is. All our drivers are competent in multi drop deliveries as well as long distance dedicated deliveries.
If you have any tips on how to make Courier Exchange really work for us, we would be very grateful for any advice you can share.

Hi all newbie Glenden here.I’m new to CX but have been a courier for nearly 6 years doing contract work for big companies and odd jobs all over including some multi-drop.I’m based in Greater Manchester, Leigh to be precise.I’ve joined CX in the hope of getting more work and basically improving my finances which is what it’s all about.Before becoming a courier i worked for McDonald’s restaurants as a manager and before that i was in the RAF, so i know all about customer service and self discipline, attributes i have found to be useful in this line of work.
I would certainly be grateful for any hints or tips for getting the best from CX that longer serving members could give me i know how important experience and knowledge are.
